New Zealand's 15,000 scouts can now make their promise in Maori.
To celebrate Maori language week, Scouts New Zealand has released te reo Maori versions of Scout law and the promise.
National commissioner Clarke Truscott says the translation is of new version released this year, which seeks to be more inclusive and holistic.
The translations are by Justin Puna, Eru Ruwhiu and Charmaine Brown.
