KFC Botany worker spices Covid search
A worker at KFC Botany Downs has tested positive for Covid 19 as part of the Papatoetoe cluster.
Community case L is a household contact of cases I, J and K and has been in quarantine since Tuesday.
They returned a negative test then but developed symptoms and was retested.
Case L worked at KFC Botany Downs between 3.30pm Monday and 12.30am Tuesday.
The 11 co-workers will be tested and required to isolate for 14 days along with their household contacts.
Members of the public who entered the store during that time are close contacts and should isolate at home until March 8, and be tested tomorrow and on day 12.
People who went through the KFC drive through are casual plus contacts and should isolate at home until they get a day 5 test tomorrow and should remain isolated until they get their test result.
