Dotcom just a donor says Harawira
Mana leader Hone Harawira says internet mogul Kim Dotcom is just a contributor rather than the driver behind Internet Mana.
Mr Harawira, Mr Dotcom and Internet Party leader Laila Harre have been filling halls around the country as the alliance continues to climb up the polls, reaching 4 percent in the latest ONE News Colmar Brunton poll.
Mr Harawira says the partners in the exercise are the two parties, and Kim Dotcom is not who people will be voting for.
"He’s a contributor to Internet Mana in the same way unions contribute to Labour, National Party supporters contribute to Kelvin Davis, that the Prime Minister runs fundraisers for the Maori Party, everybody has people who contribute to different political parties. It's just that this is the very first time Mana has had anyone contribute more than $5000. I'm not turning away that sort of support in the same way I'm not turning away the rise in the polls," he says.
