Labour happy at by-election effort
Labour leader Andrew Little says the party has done as much as it can to get a positive result in the Northland by-election.
Mr Little has been in the north supporting candidate Willow Jean Prime, but the message has been about sending the Government a message rather than getting the candidate in.
He says while Ms Prime was the first to announce her candidacy for the seat vacated by National MP Mike Sabin, the entry of New Zealand First leader Winston Peters changed the race.
To vote in Saturday’s election people need to be registered by 5 o’clock tomorrow.
