The Maori Party’s Tamaki Makaurau candidate says minor parties have been poorly served by the media this election.
Shane Taurima came from a media background, and says the campaign has taught him how hard politicians have to work.
He says the media views the election as a two horse race.
"And we know that both horses need other friends to form the next government and it will come down to the minor parties. The minor parties will determine who the next government is," Mr Taurima says.
