Wahine keen to make impact

South Taranaki wahine will today hear ways they can make change in their communities.
The Wahine Toa Project and Te Runanga o Ngati Ruanui are hosting the first Impact Wahine Forum at the TSB Hub in Hawera.
Ngati Ruanui chief executive Debbie Ngarewa-Packer says attendees will hear from wahine including IronMaori founder Heather Skipworth, Parininihi ki Waitotara Incorporation chair Hinerangi Raumati, and Puna Wano-Bryant from Parihaka Papakianga Trust.
The keynote will be given by Liliana Gil Valletta, an award-winning American entrepreneur.
The Wahine Toa Project was started by Nancy Gilbert, wife of former U.S. Ambassador Mark Gilbert.
