The attacks by National on Immigration Minister, Iain Lees-Galloway are ridiculous!
Martyn 'Bomber' Bradbury

The attacks by National on Immigration Minister, Iain Less-Galloway are ridiculous! The Minister based his decision on Karel Sroubek using the best information from the Ministry. Allegations and accusations aside, a 3 week inquiry will get to the bottom of the decision and then we will have clarity.

As a drug dealer, Sroubek might not get much sympathy from many New Zealander's and we all understand that, but this is a democracy that protects human rights and we have clemency and due process, to knee jerk a reaction because Breakfast TV hosts and the National Party are whipping up unnecessary spite and singing the 'tough-on-crime' song isn't good Government.

Compare the Minister's response to not having the best information from his Ministry to that of the National Party and the meth hysteria inside state houses. National threw hundreds of beneficiaries onto the streets, spent $120million on decontamination costs that weren't justified and made a housing crisis even worse! They were repeatedly told Housing NZ were using the wrong standards to kick state tenants onto the streets and they simply speed the evictions up!

Iain Lees-Galloway has done the right thing on this case that impacts this one person and his family. When are the National Party going to do the right thing over the 900 beneficiaries they hurt and the vast needless costs they spent?
