Toka to help council with Waikato iwi

Waikato District Council has appointed Sam Toka as its new iwi and community partnership manager.

He has been working at civil engineering firm OPUS International as a Māori business services consultant, including working extensively on roading projects in the region.

He has also been a researcher for the Waikato Raupatu Lands Trust.
