More Mou Te Reo resources for home learning support
The Education Ministry has released a new version of its Mou Te Reo resources to support te reo conversations in the home and classrooms.
Associate Education Minister Kelvin Davis says demand for the first lot of Mou Te Reo resources was overwhelming, and Mou Te Reo 2.0 should encourage students and their whānau currently in a te reo Māori education pathway to stick at it, as well as encourage other parents making decisions on future educational choices.
The pack includes a card game, Ōrite, a poster, sticker sheets with useful quotes, pēpeha, kupu and kai magnet sheets, and a notebook for drawing and keeping notes in te reo Māori.
The whānau packs are available from the Ministry of Education and will be handed out at national Māori education related events such as Ngā Manu Kōrero and Ngā Pū Kōrero.
