There were no new cases of COVID-19 reported today, but New Zealand’s total has gone up by four.

That’s because four people from the Greg Mortimer cruise ship who all tested positive for COVID-19 in Uruguay in April before returning to New Zealand have now been added to this country’s total.

The returned passengers have been in quarantine in an Auckland hotel.

It means New Zealand has 1,153 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 350 probable cases, for a combined total of 1,503.
