As kōhanga reo and early childhood centres reopen, Ngātiwai Trust Board and Te Manawaroa o Ngāti Hine are delivering kete koha to the centres in Whangarei and the mid-north.

Ngāti Hine Health Trust wellchild nurse Georgina Tipene says they include sanitizer for hands and surfaces, disposable gloves, cleaning products, paper towels, as well as a new first aid kit and electronic thermometer for each centre of kōhanga.

The initiative builds on the collaboration between thee organisations to deliver kai and hygiene products to kaumatua and whānau during the lockdown.
