Martyn 'Bomber' Bradbury: Unbelievable turn out in the Māori electorates right now with double the advance voting this time last election.

We are also seeing an enormous jump in Party vote for Labour in the Polls.

The Māori electorates are where the transformative power of Jacinda's second term will be forged.

The lacklustre change of the last 3 years has disappointed many and without considerable pushing, Labour look unlikely to be transformative on their own.

This is where the Greens need to step up.

Labour has already offered to share power with the Greens regardless if Labour needs them or not. If the Māori Party do gain representation on Election night, the Greens need to include them in any such deal with Labour.

The Greens and the Māori Party need to create a united front and negotiate directly with Labour for serious reform in the first 100 days of the next Government.

The rebuild from the pandemic will hurt the poorest amongst us first, any rebuild that doesn't have those peoples concerns front and centre won't be transformative.

It will be the same disappointment we always get.

Opinion: New Oranga Tamariki Footage and censorship a shock - Jacinda must step in now
Martyn 'Bomber' Bradbury: Explosive new Oranga Tamariki footage was released on Newsroom late last week and before the weekend, Oranga Tamariki had a Judge censor the footage and have had the story removed on the grounds that it identified the 4 Māori children at the centre of the latest uplift controversy.
Dr Rawiri Taonui | The Largest Pandemic in History and the Race for a Vaccine between the Rich and the Poor
By the end of this year, Covid-19 will be the largest pandemic in human history. Today the world total passed 60 million cases with 1.4 million deaths. On the current 7-day trend there will be 82 million cases and 1.8 million deaths before the end of the year.
Opinion: Oranga Tamariki must be run by Maori - NOW!
Martyn 'Bomber' Bradbury: The Children's Commissioner have just released the second part of their report, into Oranga Tamariki, Te Kuku O Te Manawa, and it is damning in its denunciation of the internal processes and decision making that leads to babies taken from mothers at or just after birth.
