Ngai Tahu members have a new online resource to help them find out about their marae.

Created by IT expert Karaitiana Taiuru and hosted on the South Island iwi’s website, the tool allows people to find out their pepeha, whakatauki, tauparapara and waiata unique to each marae.

Fewer than 10 percent of the 56,000 Ngai Tahu members are known to be active and registered with their marae.
